A zealous information professional of over 20 years in public libraries, Vilma has spearheaded numerous innovative programs, resources and services that address the needs of non-English-speaking populations, language learners and integrating the community through interculturality. Vilma is currently working for Anne Arundel County Public Library as one their Assistant Branch Managers
Vilma recently received her Masters in Library & Information Science at San Jose State University.Â
From children's librarian to academic reference services, Yasmin loves connecting people to all the resources available at their library! She's helped to build and grow a library's Facebook Page for Spanish-speakers while also discovering a love for videos and video-editing.
Yasmin is currently working towards her Masters in Library & Information Science at the University of Maryland - College Park.
Liz Leon is a Collection Development Librarian at the Northern Virginia Community College's Manassas Campus. She has been an academic librarian for over 20 years. She learned Spanish as an adult and enjoys promoting library services to the Spanish-speaking students on her campus.
